Temporarily remove the black/yellow wire (kill circuit) ?
Plastic covered coils can develop cracks in the casing or cracks can develop in wire coverings which lets the current leak or arc out to the engine block. The model # 140843c and serial # j0002615. On the primary circuit bottom reading was 1. 1 and the upper was. Johnson 50hp no spark. A slow cranking engine will not produce any spark!
